Help us plan Fish ‘N Brew!

PCSC has decided to host a fundraiser event: Fish ‘N Brew! This will be a celebration of all things fish and brewed, with the goal of raising funds for PCSC in a live auction. This event will be one of the Forks Chamber of Commerce Hickory Heritage Shirt Days annual festivities, held at the Rainforest Center for the Arts in downtown Forks.

We hope to be able to include the following activities:

  • a competition of locally smoked fish: jerky, chowder or ice cream!

  • a competition of locally brewed beverages: from beer, wine, to kombucha and tea!

  • local breweries and food vendors for purchase

  • local artists selling salmon-related art

  • Education corner highlighting work being done on the West End to restore native fish habitat and populations

  • live auction fundraiser! We plan to have guided fishing trips, beautiful fish wood carvings, art, and fabric arts for people to bid and win!

  • a live band!

We’re looking for people to help with event planning, marketing, coordinating the competition, organizing the auction, and day-of help. If you are interested in helping us make this a great event celebrating salmon, please come to our planning committee!

Either in person at the Pacific Coast Salmon Center office in downtown Forks or by Zoom!
